Hello Everyone,

We've been bringing the heat this summer with many great events, and there are many more to enjoy with us! Read on as we share the latest club news, photos from July events, and highlight the good times awaiting at up-coming August & September events!


Presidents Message

I'd like to begin with very joyous and enthusiastic mid-summer salutations to every one of our cherished members. So far our "Viper Summer" has been HOt! HOT! HOT! We're fresh off an outstanding 3-day event trifecta, with other successful events by our directors, event planners and sponsors as you'll see in photos below. We thank you all!


We also recognize the commitment of our members who support our local and distant events that may be 30 minutes or 4 hours away. We know summer is a difficult time to juggle family and work commitments to support weekday and weekend club events.


Our event in London was last Thursday, and wow, what a wonderful experience it was to see Steve Plinkett's exclusive Cadillac collection. His hospitality and generosity of time was wonderful, and the passion and love he shows for his cars is astounding! We had a great showing, and supported his Salthaven charity with donations in excess of $300.


Our club's future is brighter than ever. Borrowing a quote from the great Walter Chrysler, "The secret to success is enthusiasm", and we can be assured that as long as we stay excited and engaged, our club will continue to prosper! Enjoy your mid-summer cruising, and we'll hopefully see you soon at some of our exciting up-coming events!

Bob Lutz Special Event

The Motor City Viper Owners Club has invited the VCO to join them for an event at Bob Lutz's farm on August 29th in Michigan. Mr. Lutz was the inspiration and driving force behind developing the original Dodge Viper, and he's also a VCO Honorary Member. All event and registration details are in the club email you received on August 30th.

  • 4th - BBQs like Bruce & Deb's are always popular and great way to meet and mingle!

  • 11th - O'Hara Farms Annual Charity Car Show, raising donations for good causes!

  • 12th - Mount Alverno Lunch, the VCO returns for another great meal and fellowship!


  • 19th - Ferrari - Canada East Concours, this year's guest marque were the VCO Vipers!


  • 23rd - Steve Plunkett Cadillac Collection VIP Tour, Signature Event Day 1, London!


  • 24-25th - Windsor/Detroit Signature Event Day 2 & 3 - Special Issue coming soon!
