July 20th, Grand Bend Motorplex Evening Lapping, sponsored by RSP Motorsports.
July 23rd, Bruce & Deb’s Annual BBQ, sponsored by Islington Chrysler. This is a perennial favorite.. Bring your bathing suits, and your choice of Viper or another special interest car for show & tell and photographs.
August 1st, Raceway Chrysler is the sponsor of this Lapping Day at Mosport. It’s Civic holiday Monday, and the perfect time to come out and claim your club Track Rebate! Ask Bruce for details.
August 6-7th, the Stratford Cruise & Show on the 6th, followed by the St. Jacobs Market Cruise (new date) on the Sunday, sponsored by Wellington Chrysler. These will be exciting day events…or make it an exciting weekend! Watch for more details soon!
August 11th, Thursday Wing Night in Barrie, sponsored by Dettmer Tire.
August 12th, the Ouellette Street Car Cruise, Windsor, sponsored by Motiv Performance. This annual cruise celebrates Windsor rich automotive history. Participation includes all vintage, classic, custom, collector and special interest cars, street rods and muscle cars…and several Dodge Vipers this year!
August 13th, the Leamington Beach Cruise, sponsored by Steve Gawadzyn. Lake Erie will be the star of this show, Steve will be leading this very scenic cruise, and will teach you a thing or two about his professional detailing services.
August 13-14th, New Date, Prince Edward County Cruise and CFB Trenton Museum & Photo Op. Join us for one day or both on this enjoyable and scenic weekend event!
Aug 15th & Sept 29th, JRP “Speed Therapy” sponsored Lapping Day, Bowmanville. JRP offers first-time VCO participant’s an event discount, and all Speed Therapy customers discounts on various track related parts & safety equipment like brake parts and helmets! Instructors and lunch are provided at no charge.
August 27th, the Elora Gorge Cruise, sponsored by Wellington Chrysler. This is a scenic cruise to the quaint town of Elora to view the Elora Gorge and Falls, where the Grand River descends about 25 feet into the gorge.
Sept 16-18th, ONVE2022-Niagara Falls. Our Annual Club Signature Ontario Viper Event is generously sponsored by all 4 of our Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram dealer sponsors…Islington Chrysler, Ontario Chrysler, Raceway Chrysler and Wellington Chrysler! Watch for a separate email with all event details and a great incentive to commit to attend early!

Would you like to display your Viper at Drive Festival, Sept 9-11th, Bowmanville?
This event is a car enthusiast’s dream. Check it out at https://drivefestival.com/
The VCO has booked a club exhibit space for 10 Vipers in an area where various other iconic car clubs will be displaying their vehicles. You can display your Viper for 1, 2 or all 3 days. The organizer has suggested that we try to display all 5 generations, coupes, convertibles, street and track models, and an assortment of colours each day. Please let Bruce know asap which day(s) you would like to display your Viper, along with model and colour as some of you have more than one. Let’s create a dazzling Viper exhibit. This is a rain or shine event. Admission is free to those displaying their Vipers!
Why we need your RSVP Early
We have a lot of events this year, and most wouldn’t realize the amount of planning that goes into them, particularly when meal reservations or advanced admission ticket purchases or other commitments are required. We’ve actually had to cancel a couple of really great events when there were insufficient RSVPs received by the deadline in the event listing. So please note the RSVP deadline and reply early if you can, thank you! Also, when you RSVP to an event you will be contacted if there are any last-minute changes to be aware of.
ONVE2022-Niagara Falls, Sept 16-18
Get ready to book your hotel room at the Marriot On The Falls. John and Carm Wach have been planning our club’s Signature Ontario Viper Event for months and it’s going to be amazing. Saturday and Sunday are action packed, and those coming from a distance may want to arrive on Friday in time to join us for dinner at the Copacabana Brazilian restaurant. VCO Winter Caribbean Vacation!
I threw out the idea of planning a winter event in the Caribbean at this week’s Keswick event and was blown away by the response…everyone loved the idea! Marko Makela suggested an all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, which is a great destination. Punta Cana is known for its perfect weather and beaches, calm waters, affordable pricing, proximity to the airport, and unlimited local activities and excursions.
We’re thinking mid-November to early December. We’d like to get an idea of how many might be interested in going, and ask for your resort suggestions and preferred week. Shoot me a text or email and let’s take our events to a whole new level of fun!
