Hello Everyone,
Omg, what a crazy winter...and then most of us have dealt with a ton of snow to boot!!! The club always has exciting news to share, and this month's issue is sure to melt away the winter blues as we look forward to one of our most exciting years ever!
Board of Director Appointment
Our Board is pleased to announce that Jamie Herrington has been elected to a new second Vice President position as we expand our local and Viper community initiatives. Jamie will continue as London Area Director, and reprise his Master of Ceremonies role at our 4th Annual VCO Viper Show & Lunch Meeting on June 14th! Sincere thanks to Jamie!
Event Participation Record!
We're delighted to announce over 180 members attended at least one event in 2024, with many enjoying a lot of them! Our goal is to provide an outstanding club experience, and one way is by planning many events across Ontario, Western NY, and even Detroit last year so all members can easily enjoy many of these enjoyable club activities.
We have 50 days of social and performance driving events planned for 2025! Check them out on our 2025 Events Calendar, add them to your personal calendar, RSVP to the organizers, and get ready to enjoy! https://www.viperclubofontario.com/events

Team Viper VIP Judges
The VCO is pleased to welcome some of our Team Viper Honorary VCO Members. They are key Viper designers and engineers who made very significant contributions, and are recognized in the "Spirit of Viper" program. We asked 6 to judge at this year's event, to choose their favorite Vipers, and these Viper Nation celebrities graciously accepted...
Roy Sjoberg, Executive Chief Engineer. "Father Viper", Roy oversaw the creation of the Viper R/T10 & GTS, 1991 & 1996 Indy Pace Cars, GTS-R race program, TV show, and a FIA GT Championship.
Sandy Emerling, Viper Body Engineering Manager, Interior/Exterior, Gen I Roadster, Gen II GTS, GT2 Champion Edition, 1989-1999.
Richard Winkles, As Viper Engine Development Engineer, Dick was responsible for the development of the Viper’s V-10 and is known in Viper Nation as Mr. V-10!
Charlie Brown III, Viper Engine Design Team, Supplier Quality Assurance supervisor for Viper vehicle & engine components, retired & returned for Gen V engine launch.
Ken Nowak, Chassis Mock-up & Body Shop, supervisory role in the Skilled Trades Shops system, assembled the team of craftsmen that built the White Mule car VM01.
Bill Adams, From Mopar hot rodder to Chrysler Prototype Build Shop, an avid drag racer, and on to the team that built the production version from the Viper prototype.

ILR Performance Driving School & Lapping Day - April 26th
It's hard to imagine right now, but the snow will be gone by the middle of next month, followed by our Vipers emerging from hibernation! Thinking we're all exceptionally skilled Viper drivers would be totally wrong, and I can prove it. The club promotes safe and fun driving, and doing both with enthusiasm in a Viper requires advanced car control and accidence avoidance skills that can be best learned and practiced on a closed circuit. VCO members can save with club pricing and our VCO Track Rebate (see below).
The last school sold out so register early! Contact Bruce with questions and to register! https://calendar.boomte.ch/single/bA8qA8soJ7L3ixM6mL3vA8?date=2025-04-26,2025-04-26,1
2025 VCO Track Rebate
We encourages all members to improve their car control skills. We help do that with a one-time $100 Track Rebate for enrolling in an ILR school or lapping day for those who haven't received a rebate previously, and apply it to your next year's membership dues!
Dealer Sponsor Survey
We'd like to determine our club's level of support for our dealer sponsors from our member's volume of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicle purchases and service. Please help us and them by completing the Member Survey emailed to you.
Time To Order New Tires?
Tires in our Viper sizes and recommended models are currently available, but inventory levels of some are low. If your tires are worn or more than 7 years old, I recommend ordering them now to beat the spring rush. See our Tire Buying Guide for details at https://www.viperclubofontario.com/clubprograms/vco-tire-buying-guides
Avoid Parts Scams
Buying available parts from our dealers is safe, but buying from someone you don't know on Facebook requires care to avoid scams. One way to minimize risk is to use Facetime to message seller so you can actually see the part in their possession. And use PayPal to pay for it so the payment can be stopped if you don't receive the part.
Vipers Wanted
Prospective buyers sometimes reach out to locate a Viper that may not be currently advertised. We have two buyers for Gen V's, one for pleasure use, and another for mostly track use. Please let me know if you have a Gen V that you're consider selling!
The VCO Times Anniversary
Our monthly newsletter is 4 years old, and our very active club never lacks lots of news to share! We hope you've enjoyed reading the timely, the interesting, the informative, and the sometimes humorous content as much as we've enjoyed providing it!
