Ian Law Racing-Car Control School (ILR)
ILR offers the most comprehensive driver training in Canada for both new and experienced drivers, and those preparing for motorsports. The skills ILR teaches are invaluable and could quite literally save your life. The ILR Performance Driving School & Lapping Days are VCO events. Students receive invaluable in-class instruction, as well as in-car instruction...sometimes by very highly experienced VCO members! lapping is for those who have taken the ILR School or other recognized training. The VCO has enjoyed an association with ILR for many years, and we're pleased they are now a club sponsor.
ILR provides the VCO with special club pricing for their Performance Driving Schools & Lapping Days and free draws for Lapping Days for school participants. Our Event Calendar includes dates for their schools and lapping days in Bowmanville.

Johnston Research & Performance (JRP)
JRP is owned by VCO member and sponsor Derek Johnston. JRP operates "Speed Therapy" track days where they offer free in-car instruction for those requiring it, and a lot of time on track for all to develop their performance driving skills. Participants are divided into 3 groups according to level of experience, and each group is on track for 20 minutes of each hour. JRP offers a club discount to members registering for the first-time. Sam Bak is a professional driving coach, VCO member and VCO sponsor. Sam will be assisting and coaching at ILR school, lapping and charity events, available for individual coaching, and offers track car rentals.·
