March 2024

Updated: Feb 28

Hello VCO!

It's hard not to get excited about spring officially arriving in less than 3 weeks! Woohoo! We hope you've all been having an enjoyable and healthy winter. Our Vipers will be coming out of hibernation before long, and your Board members have been busy preparing for another outstanding year of Viper ownership enjoyment and club support!

New VCO Sponsor Announcement

We're very pleased to welcome MOBIL 1 to the VCO as a major club sponsor! Mobil 1 is known globally as the leading engine oil manufacturer. Vipers were protected with it starting in 1992, countless professional team's race cars and manufactures including Porsche, Mercedes-AMG and Bentley, and SRT/Prefix's Viper engine guru, Dick Winkles!

Mobil 1 will strengthen our shared goals to support the Viper community. A new initiative, "Mobil 1: Ask The Pro", will allow Viper owners everywhere to submit their questions to us and have them answered by Mobil 1's pro with decades of experience! We look forward to Mobil 1's club participation, and as the presenting sponsor of Drive Festival 2024 where we will once again have our VCO Viper exhibit! Be sure to join us there in September!

VCO Operations Manual & By-Laws

The growing scope of our club operations, offerings and membership size have involved implementing, managing and documenting new club policies, procedures and initiatives. The Board has created a club Operations Manual that assembles and organizes all facets of the club's operations, and which the Board can easily update as required.

Our club By-Laws require various amendments to update them, and the implementation of the Operations Manual will be among them. Membership needs to ratify the By-law amendments, and this will be done with a vote during our lunch meeting on May 25th. The proposed amendments will be emailed to membership in April for review.

New Director Responsibilities

We're grateful to our club directors who will be taking on these important functions...

Thank you to all of our Board members who volunteer their time for everyone's benefit!

Volunteers Wanted!

Would you like to volunteer to assist with events, on committees, or as a club director? Nominations for director are open March 1 - April 15. Contact Bruce Hadfield to discuss.

Sponsor Appreciation

These are just some of our very generous 2024 club sponsors and supporters, with all being listed & updated on our sponsor page. Let's please all show them our gratitude!

On behalf of our club directors and sponsors, we thank you all for your support!
